Muzic Talk would like to send out condolences to the family members and fans of Robert Wilson 1/3 of the Gap Band trio. Robert was one of the original funk bass players, he performed with his brothers, Charlie and Ronnie. He and his brother Ronnie were responsible for some of the greatest hit's of our era such as "You Dropped A Bombed On Me", "Oops Upside Your Head", and "Burn Ribber On Me (Why You Wanna Hurt Me)" . Roberts extraordinary bass playing can be heard on the GAP Band's hit "Shake" , where he performs a solo.
The World has truly lost a great musician. Our heart felt sympathies go out to the family, friends and fans.......
Muzic Talk conducted a focus group to listen to and give an opinion on Redd Velvet's new CD "Womanhood 101". The ages of the 20 participants ranged from 19-63 (12 females and 8 men).
The was a universal consensus that the Redd Velvet's voice was like a instrument played by a master. The only differences occurred when they tried to decide on the favorite track. Those in the age group ranging from ages 19-35 loved "No Thank You" and the elder group fell in love with "Wouldn't You Like To Know" . The overall opinion was that The CD was "fantastic", "totally professional". All of them will be buying a copy.
