Ms. Monique, the sultry siren who’s been burning up stages on the Soul and Blues circuit, has given her market a facelift. After decades of legendary soul and blues icons mirroring the beloved images of the bringers of Black folklore, Ms. Monique the apparent heiress to the soul and blues throne brings a fresh new persona to the Diva role amongst her contemporaries. Her 2005 Debut Album Soul Sessions Chapter I became a classic soul favorite and has brought audiences to their knees with her smooth, purist R & B sound, reminiscent of the R & B legends Gladys Knight and Mavis Staples.
