<itunes:summary>“LGB” wants to Congratulate all DADDY B. NICE'S BEST OF 2010 SOUTHERN SOUL MUSIC AWARDS WINNERS and all the finalist nominates. Also, “LGB” wants to thank “Daddy B. Nice” so very much for all the outstanding support that has been given to her and the other great recording artists. Having “LGB” (Reality Slowly Walks Us Down) nominated as one of DADDY B. NICE'S FINALISTS; BEST OF 2010 SOUTHERN SOUL MUSIC AWARDS in two categories, “Best Female Vocalist” and “Best Out-Of-Left Field" was just an “Awesome” honor and surpassed LGB’s most wildest dream. LGB BIO..... “LGB“ lives in Warner Robins, GA, but she was born and raised in Allendale, SC. She is known among her peers as the lady with the raspy soulful voice singing the "BLUES“ with an Rhythm N' Blues crossover. As a new songwriter, singer, producer and arranger, LGB articulates and delivers each of her stories through her songs in her own special unique way, which she wrote 6 of the 8 songs (tracks 1 - 6). She embraced different musical genres flavoring a little (Rock, Blues, R&B, Beach Music, and a tad of a Gospel flair) and appreciates so very much what each musician and the backup singers contributed. LGB 's first professional break came in November 2007, she co-wrote two songs and performed "I'm Pulling the Plug" with daughter "Tricia Barnwell" on Tricia's first CD, "Country All Over Me.” This time around, LGB teamed up with Mark Boston (aka "Rockette Morton") who once played bass guitar with "Captain Beefheart and The Magic Band,” making a name for them in England. Gene Avey, 2008 ICMA winner, also joined LGB's musical team; he sings two duets with LGB "Reality Slowly Walks Us Down" & "Again, I've Fallen In Love With You.” Gene has demonstrated, he with his guitar, is no stranger to playing Rhythm N' Blues with a little bit of Rock N' Roll. Along with Rockette Morton, Gene Avey, and Les "Bo" Kitchings, all members of the Southern Meltdown Band, Aiken, SC and Frank Sandy, North Augusta, SC on saxophone, harmonica and trumpet, they all jammed with LGB on her first CD project. LGB's daughter, Tricia also sings on this project. LGB credits learning to sing from her grandmother and her father. She sang in the church choir growing up and while obtaining her undergraduate degree, she sang in the Voorhees College chorus. She has also performed backup singing with David Brinston, and is very appreciative for the opportunity that David has given her. LGB not only sings, but while in graduate school at Georgia College and State University, she entertained some of Robins Air Force Base, GA's highest ranking military and civilians as an "Oprah Winfrey" (look alike) at a ceremony for a retiring Commander. Without a doubt, LGB understands she will be faced with great challenges and obstacles, but she strongly believes, "everyone has to start somewhere.” She has learned a great deal from seasoned musical associates and expresses her sincere humble gratefulness for their teachings, instructions, guidance and their wisdom. She thanks JackO's/JackO's Hair Force, Warner Robins, GA; Ronnie Osgood/Osgood Production and Diane Blume for giving her the uplift and the strength of encouragement to follow her dream. LGB's other studio recording team members and associates who also played a major role in her recording project deserves a "Special Thank You:” Gerad Blume, Tommy Martin, Anthony Hames, Rodell Gray, Milton Barnwell, Chandra Thompson, John Glover, Elddy Trevino and DJ's--Funky Don & Silver Bullet and (Backup singers- Margaret Daniel, Janice Porter, Ruby Moncrieft). Also, LGB sends a special "I Love You" to her mother, Everlena Gray. In loving memory of (Johnny "Doc" Wood) a special dear colleague, who passed away 18 November 2009, while working with LGB on this project. LGB will forever remember Doc's loyalty and support he provided to her since first meeting in April 2004 upon her return from the Pentagon back to Robins Air Force Base, GA.</itunes:summary>
