Simeo demonstrates his versatile vocal abilities on this CD. The title song "Southern Soul Pimpin" and "Play and Roll" are two of the dance tunes that are certain to have everyone either tapping their feet or just jumping on the dance floor. "Step Up' and "How Can I" are just two songs that illustrate Simeo's mastery as a balladeer.
